Platinum Trophy
Collect All KillZone 3 Trophies.
You all know the story behind this one by now, earn all other trophies and this will pop up for you after the last trophy listed below is earned.


Storyline Trophies (Hidden)
Storyline Trophies are trophies that are set up for certain tasks in a story and have to be completed in order for the story to progress. Hence they can not be missed.

Ready for Battle – Complete Weapons Training
Completed weapons training in prologue.
This should be your first trophy that you earn. Follow the commands to the weapons training facility. At any time you can press to get directions on where to go. Once you have completed the various weapons training requirements. The trophy will pop-up after your final long range assault rifle shot.

In Your Face – First Brutal Melee
Performed first Brutal Melee move.
You will earn this right after you have finished a harrowing vehicle ride. You will be prompted to perform a Melee attack by pressing . Once you have completed the melee attack, your trophy will pop.

Reached the Corinth River with the convoy

No Witnesses – Destroy All Dropships on the Highway
Destroyed all dropships on the highway.

Evacuation Orders> Broken Highway
There are 4 dropships that need to be destroyed for this trophy. There are two ways to take down these dropships; one is with a rocket launcher and the other is with a mini-gun. You can find a rocket launchers laying around all over in this area. However, you have to be quick and accurate with a rocket launcher for a one shot one kill situation. The higher the level of difficulty the more accurate you need to be, likewise recruit the easiest.
The other option, the Mini-gun can only be found in the previous chapter Bilgarsk Museum, so you need to play through this chapter before you get to Broken Highway. The Mini-gun is much more forgiving than the rocket launcher and be far easier to use when bringing down the dropships.
So my suggestion is to grab the Mini-gun at the beginning of Bilgarsk Museum and use it to make your way to Broken highway.
Your first dropship will appear above the bridge right after you get the command to Eliminate the RPG threat. Take him out, if you blow it restart from last checkpoint. Finish clearing out the area. You next dropship will appear right next to the overhead highway signs in front of you. There are ammo supply crates located at various locations. So running out of ammo shouldn't be a problem. Once these two have been taken care of, you can move on to the road block(checkpoint). Behind this roadblock there will be two dropships that will take off one right after the other. So be ready. Once the APC breaks through you can head to the right side, or stay behind and take your best shot at the first one. It will take off straight up and high before taking off. The second will not rise as high. If you miss any one of these you can restart from the last checkpoint. Once you have destroyed all four dropships your trophy will appear shortly after the last dropship.

Mopping Up – Kill 40 Helghast foot soldiers
Kill 40 or more Helghast foot soldiers on the Beach.

Pyrrhus Evac>Senlin Beach
The next three trophies all happen during Senlin Beach. This will be the more difficult of the three.
You must kill all the soldiers on the beach. If you miss any the trophy will not pop-up. There are four areas of concern. Your first group of foot soldiers will be up in the building when you encounter someone shooting a RPG at you. Use to fire your cannon and for your machine gun. Press to zoom in on the area. You need to kill everyone here and be quick before you move on to the next vicinity. The next group will have a couple of barricades and an APC under the bridge. Wait until everyone gets out of the APC before you destroy it. You may need these soldiers for your count. Watch for the doorway on the far right when you clear out the barricade on your right. There usually a guy or two inside. Be quick, because you will drive past into another encounter with 3 foot soldiers right in front of you and the rest up on the loading docks. There will be several foot soldiers up on the dock in this section. Keep you guns focused and firing into this area until you drive past. Now for the final area which will have two dropships. Take out everything in this area. Once you have downed the two dropships the trophy will pop-up. If it didn't restart the section because you missed somebody.

Sawn Off – Destroy All Chasing APCs
Destroyed all chasing SawBlade APCs in Senlin Beach section.

Pyrrhus Evac>Senlin Beach
A fairly easy trophy to get at any level of difficulty. Now that you have cleared the beach and have reached the highway a couple of APCs will storm towards you from the right off a destroyed overpass. Turn your guns toward the back and just keep firing away until they are gone. Once you have destroyed the last APC the trophy will pop-up.

Smoking Wrecks – Destroy all Tanks on Senlin
Destroyed all the Helghast Tanks in the Senlin Beach Section.

Pyrrhus Evac>Senlin Beach
Another fairly easy trophy following the chasing APC's above. You will encounter 4 tanks, your first will be off to the right. Fire away, if you didn't finish him off you will circle around and face him head on. They do take some damage but all doable. The next directly in front of you on the road. You will encounter a machine gun nest and another tank shortly after which you need to destroy quickly before you move past it. The last will be right in front of you blocking your way. When you have destroyed the last tank the trophy will pop-up.

Turn the Tables – Melee Kill a Capture Trooper
Killed a Capture Trooper using Melee.
Select Chapter/Section:
Six Months On>Kaznan Deep
These guys are dressed up differently than your regular Helghast soldiers. These guys have no fear and will run right at you to capture or kill you.
There a several opportunities for this trophy I used one location toward the end of Kaznan Deep.
From the beginning, you are over looking an area as a dropship drops off a half a dozen Helghast soldiers. Take care of these soldiers, drop down and finish off the rest. Press and follow your guide marker around to another pair of soldiers along with a Helghast flamethrower and another straggler. Keep your guide marker up to follow your way through the maze. You will then run into a tunnel opening and see a pair of Helghast soldiers behind some boxes in the distance, also watch for a couple of soldiers coming up the right side on the other side of the tunnel opening. Now that you have taken care of these soldiers walk through the opening and over to your left you can pick up a M224-1A LMG. This will make light work of everybody else, including the Capture Troopers.
Follow your guide marker till you have another pair of soldiers coming down the tunnel. If you haven't earned Spikey Personality here will be another opportunity to do so. As you come up this tunnel you will be greeted by another pair of Helghast soldiers and shortly after that you will have two Capture Troopers running toward you.
Gun down the first one and take 1-2 shots and the second one to weaken him. Then walk up to him and press for a Brutal Melee kill. If you shoot the second one too many times just start back from last checkpoint, which will put you right where you are. Once you have performed the Brutal Melee attack the trophy will pop-up.

Spiky Personality – Kill a Helghast using a Burster
Killed a Helghast by shooting a Burster plant.

Six Months On>Jungle Valley
Your first opportunity to get this trophy would be during this Jungle Valley run. Your mission for this chapter is to establish an ISA uplink. As you try an sneak past several Helghast, there will be a few standing by a Burster Plant. Shoot the Burster Plant and it will explode and eject stingers killing anybody and everybody that is in close proximity to the plant. Your trophy will pop-up shortly afterwards.

Never There - Sneak past Helgahst
Sneaked past all Helghast in the Jungle without alerting any of them.
Hidden Trophy
Select Chapter/Section:
Six Months On>Jungle Valley
You need to go from the start of this chapter until you get to the Cruiser wreckage without being seen. If you are seen at anytime you can quit and restart your last checkpoint.
You are sent out with Kowalski to establish an ISA uplink. Follow Kowalski and stealthly kill a Helghast foot soldier when prompted. Next stay crouched using , and take out the soldier on the ridge with a head shot. Move forward using to crouch in the tall grass and you will see another Helghast soldier walking your way. When he gets really close kill him with a head shot. Move over to the far right and stay in the shadows and you will see two more Helghast soldiers. Use the Burster plant to kill them or kill them separately with head shots.
Next you will see a couple of soldiers walking back and forth and another up on a ledge. Here is another opportunity to kill them using the Burster plant.
After the cut scene, make your way until you see 2 more soldiers talking. When one leaves sneak up on the one that stayed and kill him with a melee attack. Follow the path around until you see several soldiers walking around. Off to the right you should see a passage way that will lead you all the way around. Stay crouched with and work your way around until you get a cut scene. Then on to your final area. Crouch and kill the soldier that walks in front of you. Step back into the dark cave so they will not see you. When you have cleared out this area your trophy will pop-up.

Minigunned - Destroy all targets
Destroyed everthing while using the Minigun on the intruder.
Select Chapter/Section:
Icy Incursion>Frozen shores
This is kind of confusing, you do not need to destroy everything in order to get this trophy. Only the objects that you need to destroy are the ones marked with a blue light or similar markings.
When you are coming up to your first rig platform you will start to see some blue lighted objects. You AI buddies will take out the first one for you. On either side of the anti-aircraft gun there are pipes (fuel lines) that have a blue light in the center. You will need to destroy these along with a larger capsule off to the far left and on a lower level. You will then drop down and see 8 more sets of pipes, 4 in the first group or left side and 4 in the other group or right side. You will then begin to rise and encounter more Helghast on the platform. Do not worry about these guys. Take out the two silos on the right side of the rig. You may have to get the second one as you are leaving. If you missed any of these then it is best just to start over.
The next rig will come up and as you approach you will drop down fast. Aim towards the bottom of the rig while coming in. You have two fuel lines to destroy and very little time to destroy them. Next you have the pipes that span across between the two platforms and 3 more silos that need to be destroyed off to your right. As you swing around, you will get a call to destroy the two dropships that are trying to get away. Soon after you have destroyed both dropships your trophy will pop-up. If not you missed something and will need to restart.

Aerial Superiority - Kill 5 Helghast while in the air
Killed 5 Helghast while airbourne using a Jetpack.
Hidden Trophy
Select Chapter/Section:
Icy Incursion>Akmir Rig
Fairly easy trophy to get. Your first opportunity would be Akmir Rig. Here you have grabbed a jetpack (press to lift off and for a short burst forward) and will be heading over to a platform rig with anti-aircraft guns. Your mission at this time is to plant a charge below the anti-aircraft gun. Once you have reached the platform rig and see a Helghast soldier press to fly up and before you come back down shoot and kill the soldier. Make sure he is dead before you touch back down. Just do this 4 more times and the trophy will pop-up shortly after your fifth legitimate kill.

Quick Exit - Escape the Oil Rig quickly
Got off the 2nd Rig within 2 minutes.

Icy Incursion>Nilfrost Rig
You will need escape the rig in under two minutes after you have planted the two devices. Remember to use your guide marker by pressing often. It will help you determine your quickest route.
After you have placed both devices you are given 4:00 minutes before the charges go off. Once you have placed the second device the time will start and you will need to turn toward the staircase. You will have a Helghast soldier with a jetpack waiting for you inside the gate. Take him out and from here you will need to jump from broken staircase to broken staircase. Remember to use your guide marker by pressing in case you get disoriented. Now that you are in the cargo hold you have a couple of floors to go. Get up to the main floor, here you have several Helghast to challenge your skills. Use your guide marker and make your way over to second platform and up the stairs. Your objective is the end of the long catwalk you see to your left. If you can reach the halfway point with more the 2:00 minutes left you have yourself another trophy. Otherwise try it again.

Stahl Arms Infiltration>Sharp Pursuit
Fairly easy trophy to get. Just stay on the path and use your homing missiles(). Everything will be in front of you. Just keep pressing , (homing missiles) and , your machine gun. Try to keep your red reticule on the vehicles in front of you the best you can. Your homing missiles will not fire unless they are locked on to something and you year a dinging sound when you are locked on. So listen for the sound and fire away. Watch for the holes at the end, go around to the left or right but not down the middle. Your trophy will pop-up during the cut scene.

Pinpoint - Kill the Heavy with an StA-14
Killed the Heavy using the StA-14 rifle.

Scrapyard Shortcut>Blind Yards
The most important thing here is to grab a StA-14 before you activate the cut scene, otherwise you have to start the section over. Usually they are on the far left side of the gun rack, the one with a scope. The Heavy is a very large guy decked out in lots of body armor and a minigun. Once the Heavy appears use your StA-14 scope and fire off a head shot. He should fall over with his back toward you. Now fire off a quick 5-6 controlled shots at the red tanks on his back. Be careful of the recoil. Your trophy will pop-up during the cut scene.

You have to play through all three sections in sequence, meaning you cannot skip Freight Elevator. There is nothing to do with the MAWLR in the section Freight Elevator.
In order to get this trophy you need to destroy everything on the MAWLR while your on the ground(during MAWLR) and in the air in an Intruder(during Ashen Skies).

Pretty straight forward, Kill 500 Helghast soldiers. You should be able to do this a little more than halfway through a normal play through.

You should be close to this or have achieved this on your second play through.

Here is a very good tip suggested by Asuka.
"I used the infinite spawning section of Pyrrhus Evac|Salach District to finish my Hig kills. It's a great area to "farm" kills, especially if you're good with the sniper rifle.
The best time to grind kills is when you have to pick off the snipers one by one in the different buildings (just after you kill the two machine gunners). The first two will be in the building directly across from you - take those out. The third sniper will be in the building 'behind' you, where the cannon is between you and the building. The ISA on the ground won't kill this sniper, and aside from you running to get more sniper rifle ammo, you'll be protected from him. From here on out, just keep picking off the Higs on the ground and your body count will increase rapidly."

One Each - Kill 3 Helghast with Shotgun Pistol, no reloads
Shot and Killed 3 Helghast with Shotgun Pistol without reloading or switching weapons.

Evacuation Orders>Rooftop Showdown
Here is another one that is fairly easy to accomplish. You possibly could have found one earlier, but this one is easy to describe. Right after you press to open the door you see a Helghast soldier looking out the window. Go up and melee him. Prepare a grenade and head over the ruble. You will see a small group that is just right for Frag Out. After you have taken care of everybody in this corner find the one with a missile launcher, he also has a shotgun pistol. Press to pick it up. Now press for the shotgun pistol and head down the stairs and earn your trophy. Remember you have 3 shells so it is three shots one kill each.

If you have not picked up the trophy by now you will now have the shotgun pistol in your arsenal.
Press for your shotgun pistol. Your shotgun pistol fires three shots before reloading. So find a group of three Helghast and make sure you have a clean shot and take all 3 out with one shot one kill. Your trophy will pop-up shortly after your last kill.

Eagle Eye - Every Sniper Rifle Bullet is a Kill
Shot and killed 6 Helghast using the Sniper Rifle without reloading or switching weapons.

Your first opportunity to get this will be during Pyrrhus Evac>Salach District. During your mission to take out the Arc APC's you will be requested to take out the snipers. Take the first one out and use the sniper rifle to kill 6 more Helghast. There will be plenty of foot soldiers and snipers to pick off. Once you have killed 6 foot soldiers and/or snipers without reloading or switching weapons the trophy will pop-up.

Frazzle Dazzle
Kill 3 Helghast with one shot from the StA5X Arc cannon.

Stahl Arms Infiltration>Ward 5
Fairly easy trophy to obtain. Your first opportunity to play with this badass gun is after you have thwarted execution of Narville. Right after the cut scene is finished you have the StA5X in your possession. Aim for the door across the bay as soon as it opens you will have a Capture Trooper and two Helghast soldiers coming out of the door. Fire as soon as the door opens and will get your three kills right away. If not restart checkpoint. Your trophy will pop-up before you make it across the floor.
There will be plenty more opportunities to get this trophy. So you do not have to rely on this point.

Power Spike

Scrapyards Shortcut>Fenced In
There are several places that you can pick up this trophy. Your first opportunity would be in Scrapyards Shortcut>Fenced In. Once this chapter starts run up and grab the VC21 Boltgun. Take care of the Sentry Bots and the sniper. Zoom in and look for Red barrels they will be scattered through out the area. Position yourself so that an Helghast soldier is between you and the red barrel. Now fire and bolt him to the barrel and watch him explode. Your trophy will pop-up shortly.

Excessive Force - Kill a lone Helghast with the WASP secondary fire
Kill a lone Helghast with the WASP secondary fire.
Hidden Trophy

The tricky part about this trophy is killing only one Helghast soldier. You can accomplish this and Spread the Love trophy below during the same mission.
To ensure that you get this, kill everyone off and leave one Helghast soldier. Press , once it is locked on (red reticule) then press to fire.
Your trophy will pop-up shortly afterwards.
Note: Secondary fire - There is some confusion on how this is done. First you need to press to turn the WASP into an artillery strike. The artillery strike will take 9 shots and shoot them vertically into the air then down on some unsuspecting sole. Instead of horizontally when pressing . If you do not have 9 ready your gun will go into reload before firing and you may miss your opportunity.

Spread the Love - Kill 5 Helghast at once using the WASP's secondary fire
Kill 5 Helghast at once with the WASP's secondary fire.
Hidden Trophy

Icy Incursion>Providence Bay
The tricky part about this trophy is getting 5 Helghast soldiers together. As I played further into the game I found a couple other places that could be used. Your first opportunity will be once your reach pair of WASP turrets take out the bunkers and reload. A dropship will fly in. Do not shoot it down. When it hovers over the first bunker it will be dropping off some Helghast soldiers. Here is your chance, as they slide down the ropes aim at them and press then press before they hit the ground. Once they hit the ground they scatter. If you time it right you will take them all out and your trophy will pop-up shortly. If not, restart checkpoint.

Double Trouble - Reach the River in Co-op
Made it to the Corinth River in Co-op mode.

Toward the end of Evacuation Orders, Broken Highway, you follow your APCs through town and up to a road block, your APC will move through the road block and meet two dropships that will fly off. Either destroy them as part of No Witnesses - Destroy All Dropships on the Highwaybelow or let them fly off and clear out all enemy personnel in this area. Now move to the end of the road which will trigger a cutscene and the end of the chapter. The trophy will unlock and pop-up during the cutscene.

Note: Reaching the Corinth River in Co-op mode will also earn you Time for a Dip - Reach the River.

Online Multi-Player Trophies
Online Trophies are trophies that are set up for certain tasks during multi-player games/modes and all have to be completed online during ranked matches.

Up Close and Personal - Brutal Melee another player
Use Brutal Melee move against another player.
A fairly easy trophy to get. When you are close enough to an enemy you will see a prompt to press . Press to perform a Brutal Melee attack.
Your can earn this trophy in any of the 3 modes of play: Guerrilla Warfare, Operations or Warzone.

Team Player - Play a match as part of a squad
Joined and completed a match as part of a squad.
Just invite a friend from your PSN friends list to play either Guerrilla Warfare, Operations or Warzone. It doesn't matter if you win or lose but you do need to finish the match.

Grand Slam - Win a match in 3 multiplayer modes -
Won a match in Operation, Warzone & Guerilla Warfare modes.
You will earn this trophy after you have been on the winning side in all three modes: Operation, Warzone & Guerilla Warfare.

Pilots Wings - Mid-air Kill
Got a mid-air kill using the Jet Pack in any multiplayer mode.
Hidden Trophy

Fairly easy trophy to get. You can only get this on the Turbine Concourse SE-6 map. When you have grabbed a jetpack (press to lift off and for a short burst forward) press to fly up and before you come back down shoot and kill an enemy soldier. Make sure he is dead before you touch back down. Your trophy will pop-up after you have made a successful kill.

Iron Man – Get a kill with the Exo
Killed a player using the Exo in any multiplayer mode.
Hidden Trophy

Another fairly easy trophy to pick up. You can only get this trophy on the Corinth Highway map. Getting a kill in on of these things is pretty easy, the only difficult thing about this is getting into one before your teammate does.

Medic! - Revive anoither Player
Revived a friendly player for the first time.
This can be earned during any mode of play; Operation, Warzone & Guerilla Warfare.
Select Medic class and when one of your teammates goes down go up to them and press to revive them. Your trophy will pop-up shortly afterwards.

Handy Man - Repair an Object
Repaired an object for the first time.
This can be earned during any mode of play; Operation, Warzone & Guerilla Warfare.
Select Engineer class and repair anything by pressing to repair them. Your trophy will pop-up shortly afterwards. You can repair an ammo dump, sentry post or anything that will appear on your radar as a wrench on your map.

Now You See Me - Kill using Cloak
Killed another player while cloaked.
There has been a lot of confusion with this trophy. Turns out that it may be glitchy. Some have been able to shoot someone and pick this up. Others fired countless shots and no luck, other than a melee kill.
Play as a Marksman and activate your cloak by pressing and go take someone out.

Spy Game - Kill using Disguise
Killed another player while disguised.
This can be earned during any mode of play; Operation, Warzone & Guerilla Warfare.
Select Infiltrator and go over to an enemy and kill him by a shotgun blast or a Brutal melee.

Turf War - Capture a Tactical Spawn Area
Captured a Tactical Spawn Area for the first time.
There are at least one Tactical Spawn Point in any of the maps for Warzone and Operations, some more. Guerrilla Warfare does not have any Tactical Spawn Points.
Select Tacticain and try and find a Tactical Spawn Point. They will appear as an icon on your map. If they appear grey or red then you can capture it and score another trophy. If it is green one of your teammates has already captured the point.

GAME MODES:

Warzone:
This is the pride and joy of KillZone 3 multi-player game modes, here you have a collection of various objectives. In order to win a match you must 4 out of the 7 objectives. Each objective last 5:00 minutes. You can play with up to 24 players in Warzone 12 vs 12.
There are seven maps available for Warzone with the original release. They are, including how many Tactical Spawn Points and what benefits:
Corinth Highway - 2 - Mortar Strikes & EXO's
Pyrrhus Crater - 1 - Mortar Strikes
Bilgarsk Boulevard - 2 - Mortar strikes
Turbine Concourse SE-6 - 3 - E.M.P.s & Jetpacks
Frozen Dam - 3 - Mortar Strikes
Akmir Snowdrift - 2 - Mortar Strikes
MAWLR Graveyard - 2 - Mortar Strikes

You have six objectives that will rotate randomly through game play. They are:
Search and Destroy - One team has to place charges in certain designated points and areas. The other team must defend those areas.
Assassination - One person is selected randomly. Whose ever team the chosen player is one they must protect them, in order to win, while the whole opposing team must assassinate them to win.
Capture & Hold - There are three areas in each map that each team must capture and hold in order to win. You must stand within a certain area to capture that area.
Search & Retrieve - Basically capture the flag. Instead of a flag, it is a propaganda speaker that must be captured and taken to a teams specific drop-off point.
Body Count - Team deathmatch, team with the most kills within 5:00 minutes or 25 kills which ever comes first.
Scavenge & Retrieve - Similar to Search and Retrieve with a twist of Capture and Hold. One team attacks and one team defends. Here you have a battery that must be charged an taken to the next location.
Operations:
New to the KillZone game modes. Operations is another objective based game, unlike Warzone, each objective will be stage related. ISA must complete an objective or a stage to continue the match and each match has three stages. If the Helghast can stop any of the three stages they win. ISA must win all three in order to when. There are three maps for operations and each map has its own objectives.
Frozen Dam - 2 - Mortar Strikes
Akmir Snowdrift - 1 - Mortar Strikes
MAWLR Graveyard - 2 - Mortar Strikes
Guerrilla Warfare:
This is your basic deathmatch game. There are no base camps and you will respawn randomly. There are 5 maps that are based on the Warzone maps, but have been reduced in size to keep the fighting up close. Those maps are:
Pyrrhus Crater
Bilgarsk Boulevard
Frozen Dam
Akmir Snowdrift
Kaznan Jungle


TACTICAL SPAWN POINTS (TSA) - There is at least one on each map except Guerrilla Warfare maps. These points will appear as a gray icon if they have not been captured. If they have been they will appear red (enemy) and you can re-capture it or green (friendly) which means that a teammate has already captured the point.
Once you have captured a spawn point your team can choose to spawn from this point. Also a beacon will become available, you can pick up this beacon(E.M.P. or Mortar Strike) by press and holding when you are next to one. There will only be one available at any given time from that point. To use press to throw.
